Our Commitment

Ethical conduct in everything we do

Harbor Home Healthcare maintains high standards of ethical conduct across all aspects of our operations — from documentation and billing to client care and employment practices. We are committed to full compliance with Virginia and federal law.

All Harbor staff are trained on ethical conduct expectations and are required to report any known or suspected violations of law, regulation, or our own policies.

Fraud, Waste & Abuse

Zero tolerance policy

Harbor Home Healthcare has a zero-tolerance policy for fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). This includes any intentional misrepresentation, false billing, or misuse of Medicaid or other program funds — by Harbor staff, contractors, or clients.

Any employee, contractor, or client who reports suspected FWA in good faith is protected from retaliation.

Our Standards

What we are committed to

Accurate Documentation

All service records, visit logs, and care notes are completed accurately and only reflect services that were actually delivered.

Qualified Personnel

Harbor employs only qualified, screened staff who meet Virginia's requirements. Screening and qualification checks follow the requirements applicable to the role and service.

Client Protection

Harbor prohibits any form of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or misappropriation of client property. Allegations are immediately investigated and reported as required by law.
