Harbor Home Healthcare accepts Cardinal Care Virginia Medicaid through all five authorized managed care plans, and also welcomes private pay clients. We are here to help you understand your coverage options.
Medicaid Waiver Coverage
If you are enrolled in a waiver program
If a client is enrolled in a Virginia Medicaid waiver program — such as the CCC Plus Waiver — and has been screened, approved, and authorized for personal care or respite services, those services may be covered by Medicaid through the client's Cardinal Care managed care plan.
Harbor Home Healthcare is an enrolled provider with all five Cardinal Care managed care organizations. We work directly with the managed care plan to coordinate service authorization and billing on the client's behalf.
Private Pay
If you are not enrolled in a waiver
If a client is not enrolled in a Medicaid waiver program, or if their services are not covered by a waiver, services may be available on a private pay (self-pay) basis. Private pay allows families to arrange care directly with Harbor without the need for a Medicaid screening or managed care enrollment.
